Moths Found on 18 September 2011

Forward to 2 October 2011 moth page, back to 4 September 2011 moth page, to general moths page.

Probably our last trapping of the season and only four moths in the trap by the time we'd got out of bed to look at them.  Gone is the infestation of Large Yellow Underwing (just two in the trap) but we were honoured with the presence of the distinctive Angle Shades (previously photographed in its spring brood here) and a Lunar Underwing (previously photographed here, thanks to Jan-Paul Charteris, David142 and Paul Chapman for help with the ID).
